Afterward

While the counter-culture movement driven by the passionate young people had not resulted in all their demands, it cannot be said that they did not have their victories. Following the war in Vietnam, the draft had been done away with, the US and the world had started taking steps to protect the environment, and music and art born from counter-culture had forever changed the American mainstream. Freedom from government and tyranny, two evils fought in the founding of the United States of America, were forever implanted in our minds, but with a colorful twist.
